We have a 2-person class minimum. In the rare event we don’t reach 2 students, we'll offer you a few options:

• Enroll some friends to come with you!
• Take the private, 1:1 instruction. This changes the cost and length of the class, but we understand you've got projects coming up and we want to help them happen
• Move your ticket to another date (we also have a policy not to cancel on someone twice — promise)
• Full refund 

A paid ticket is required for each warm body that comes to class. Our classes are for adults, so according to the government, that means anyone 18 or older.

We'd love to say you can bring your younger kids and pets and just let them hang out while you're in class, but we teach in an active workshop — it's just not safe.

Our goal at Even Made is to create a safe, open space for everyone to learn. We are teaching new skills for people at all kinds of experience levels. If you have prior experience or knowledge, please be patient with your classmates and make space for them to learn. We will have time for questions, so please follow along with the instructor and let them set the pace of the class.

Even Made strives to be a safe, brave space for everyone. We will not tolerate any transphobic, homophobic, racist, or sexist speech or behavior from anyone. 

Our workshop is located at 4105 N Kedzie Ave.

DIY can get messy — wear something comfortable that you don't mind getting dusty/dirty

Getting there:

• Plenty of non-permitted / free street parking nearby, but no parking lot.
• There is paid parking close to Irving Park Rd. Keep going north. Free Parking on our block and further north.
• CTA: Blue Line Irving Park stop is a 30 minute walk; lots of nearby bus stops

Please get to the class a few minutes before it starts, so that class can begin on time for everyone.

Cancellations/reschedule requests will be honored up to 24 hours before the start of a class. Please email us at hello@evenmadetrade.com to request a cancellation/reschedule.

Reschedules can be for the same class or a class of equal value. You may reschedule once. If you are unable to attend your rescheduled class, we are unable to offer you a refund.

Refunds will be sent back via the original form of payment less processing fees; processing times/fees will depend on the various banks and technologies involved.

Please use common sense when in class. Don’t use a tool or supply that you don’t know how to use. You will be given a safety lesson on anything you will use in class, and we will provide safety glasses and other equipment. Everyone will need to agree to a liability waiver upon registration. 

We like to use class photos on our social media and website, and other advertisements for our classes. That said, we don't want to use your picture if you don't want us to! Our instructors will ask before taking pics, but in the event they forget (they are human) we ask that you also make your preferences clear. If you ever see your picture online and don't want it there, reach out to hello@evenmadetrade.com.

YOU, on the other hand, are welcome and encouraged to take and post pictures of your experience online — we love that! We ask that you also respect the wishes of students who don't want to appear online, but take all the selfies you want.
