Woodworking: Build a Wall or Floor Cabinet with a Door

Make a basic cabinet with a door – this can turn into anything!
Feeling adventurous? Are you thinking about making your own kitchen cabinets or do you have a weird space that no cabinet from a box store will fit?
We’ve been there. Let’s make a basic cabinet body and attach a door to it using regular kitchen cabinet hardware you can find anywhere. We’ll show you how to join the pieces together, what materials to use and tools to have on hand. We’ll also talk about hinges, pulls, and knobs for those doors.
If you haven’t taken Woodworking 2: Joinery, that would be a good idea. We’ll use some of those skills in this class.
You will learn:
- Cabinet materials: MDF, wood, etc.
- Tools and safety
- Nail guns and adhesives
- Making doors with hinges
- How to use a nail gun
Supplies Needed:
All supplies for the class will be provided for you, including safety gear.
