Tile 2: Tiling in Wet Places & Shower Nooks

Ready to level up your tiling game? This is the class for you. Learn how to plan and install a shower wall from the cement board up. We’ll talk about important considerations when installing tile in a wet zone and help troubleshoot potential planning issues in your project (but I *WANT* that tile, even if it can’t go in a shower!!!). In this class, we’ll also mix mortar from powder, measure and cut edging, and talk about decorative insets and niches.
You will learn:
- How to mix mortar from dry powder
- How to back butter and set large tile
- Wet tiling materials
- Tiling an inset nook
- Using edging
In this class, we walk through a step-by-step of a more complicated installation process. Harder? A bit. Still achievable? Of course.
