Drywall Hanging, Mudding, and Repairing: Let’s Sheetrock
September 16 @ 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm CDT
IDK what she’s doing in this picture, but she needs to take this class.
Also, that drywall is WAY too close to the subfloor. When you hang drywall, you need to leave a space so water doesn’t crawl up the wall and mold everywhere.
Hey, y’all asked for this one, and now we have the wall space to do it. You’re going to hang and cut pieces of drywall to make a WALL. A real wall. And learn how to use mud, tape, knives, cut in a corner, put up corner bead, and all kinds of other messy, dusty stuff.
Then we’ll beat the crap out of the wall and fix the holes we make. Or maybe just trash it depending on how we feel. No really, we’ll fix it too. You need to know how to do this drywall hanging and repairing stuff.
You will learn:
- Drywall sizes, tools, and materials
- How to hang a wall and measure
- How to tape and sand
- How to make an interior and exterior corner
- How to fix small and large holes
All supplies for the class will be provided for you, including safety gear.
Class policies and cancellation.
