Cutting Shapes Out of Wood with Saws

Make something fun from your hoard of wood
In this class we’ll practice cutting shapes — any shape you want — out of wood. We’ll use hand and power tools to do it, and learn about different blades, speeds, and saws. There are a lot of options!
Bring your ideas; holiday shapes, gifts, pieces that go together, letters. We won’t paint or stain them, that’s a different class, but we will learn about sanding and different kinds of sandpaper! Most likely we’ll get our hands on some drills to make holes too.
Everything is hands-on!
Supplies Needed:
None unless you want to bring in something you have at home. All supplies for the class will be provided for you, including safety gear.
